Rosen Injury Law, a dynamic, growing plaintiff personal injury firm located in Davie, Florida has an opportunity for a detail-oriented, organized Legal Records Clerk. The primary responsibility of this role is handling medical, and other record requests. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a Plaintiff Personal Injury law firm requesting and processing records of all types and medical/hospital bills. This role will also set up claims for new clients with insurance companies.
Your Experience
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a Plaintiff Personal Injury law firm requesting request HIGHLY PREFERRED
- Experienced handling medical records requests in a law firm or medical environment required.
- Handling multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Law firm case management experience highly preferred, Filevine a strong plus.
Job Responsibilities
- Obtain policy limits and open claims with insurance carriers.
- Gather documents from clients including insurance information, photos, and police reports.
- Communicate calmly, professionally, and clearly when making records requests.
- Communicate with clients in a professional and empathetic manner.
- File information accurately in firm’s case management system.
- Organized, timely follow up on receipt of records.
