Security Dispatch (PM Shift)

Summary:

The Security Dispatch at Rosen Hotels & Resorts assumes the role of "Communications Coordinator" in all events, including emergencies. The Security Dispatch monitors closed-circuit television (CCTV) and telex radio communication channels to provide asset protection, prevent illegal activities, and ensure the safety of guests and associates.

Responsibilities:

• Receive complaints and requests for assistance from guests, employees, or outside agencies via radio and telephone.
• Assign or advise Security personnel as needed based on the nature of the request or situation.
• Maintain accurate records and logs of communication transmissions.
• Provide outstanding guest service by protecting hotel guests, employees, and property while maintaining a high level of visibility.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and incidents following appropriate protocols.
• Follow Company Standards for guest service and maintain a positive and professional attitude with guests and team members.
• Must have the ability to drive a company-assigned golf cart or other company-assigned vehicle.
• Comply with the company's drug-free and tobacco/nicotine-free policy.
• All other duties as assigned.

Experience/Qualifications:

• 6 months of previous security experience required.
• Must have a Florida State driver's license in current good standing.
• Clean driving record.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Ability to lift- up to 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. infrequently.
• Stand and walk for long periods.
• Must be able to legally work in the USA.

Education and Certification(s)/License(s):

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
