The Camp Activity Coordinator is responsible for creating and leading engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote movement, teamwork, and fun throughout the camp day. This role oversees a daily activity block designed specifically for each grade level, offering a wide variety of games, sports, fitness challenges, and interactive group activities. Each day brings something new, ensuring campers stay active, excited, and involved.
The Camp Activity Coordinator plans and organizes all activities in advance, prepares necessary equipment, and adapts to programming needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and lead daily activity sessions for multiple grade levels.
- Create a rotating schedule of games, sports, and fitness based activities.
- Ensure activities are safe and inclusive.
- Organize and maintain equipment and supplies
- Manage groups effectively and encourage teamwork/sportsmanship
- Communicate with camp staff to support daily damp operations.
- CPR/First Aid
- Experience working with children in a camp, school, or recreation setting
- Strong organization, communication, and leadership skills
