Position Purpose: Oversees daily operations of the Access Team to assist and provide comprehensive
behavioral health assessments and medically necessary service needs. Provide and monitor continuity of
assessment and admission services in an ethical, legal, and moral manner within a safe and therapeutic
environment, consistent with applicable regulatory and accreditation standards. Participate as a team member
in the delivery of treatment services to clients and their families, as well as facilitating the issues of recovery
into their daily living situations.

Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, or other behavioral health-related field
- Must qualify at a minimum as a QMHP per Illinois Department of Health Rule 132. LPHA preferred.
- Proven experience in behavioral health, social service, or related field
- Strong skills in motivating and problem-solving with staff, and working with individuals from diverse
- Demonstrated clinical competency in client assessment
- Strong computer skills required, including proficiency in operating various software applications and
- Self-starter with ability to work independently.
- Ability to work within a team
- Sound judgement to assess situations, determine the severity of crises, and take appropriate action,
- Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to communicate clearly,
- Proficient skills with EHR / EMR / CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite required
- Organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet multiple deadlines
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to meet agency insurance requirements
- Must have own transportation

- Work scheduled hours and any additional hours deemed necessary by leadership. Some variation in
- Oversee the daily operations of access services to provide comprehensive diagnostic assessment
- Develop, mentor, coach, and supervise a team of Behavioral Health Access Counselors providing
disciplinary interventions as required
- Ongoing communication with Directors/Administrators regarding procedure compliance and drift
variety of teams.
- Supervise and review all inquiries, assessments, and admission activities as a QMHP.
- Track and measure team KPIs
- Provide daily direction, guidance, and communication to frontline team members
- Maintain and protect client confidentiality in accordance with all relevant regulations; maintain
- Monitor team’s continuity of assessment and admission services in an ethical, legal, and moral
accreditation standards.
- As assigned, performs CLIA-waived laboratory testing and related quality control activities in accordance
procedures.
- Serve as a member of the team, and participate in all team meetings, duties, and activities as assigned.
- Exhibits actions and makes decisions that align with the Rosecrance Code of Conduct and within the

- Starting salary for Masters - $63,589.75
- Professional Certification (e.g., CADC, CRSS, CPS): $1,500 annually
- Clinical Licensure (e.g., LPC/LSW/LMSW, LCPC/LCSW/LMHC): $1,800 – $5,000 annually
