Sign-On Bonus:
$10,000 for licensed masters level candidates.
Position Purpose: Oversees daily operations of the Access Team to assist and provide comprehensive
behavioral health assessments and medically necessary service needs. Provide and monitor continuity of
assessment and admission services in an ethical, legal, and moral manner within a safe and therapeutic
environment, consistent with applicable regulatory and accreditation standards. Participate as a team member
in the delivery of treatment services to clients and their families, as well as facilitating the issues of recovery
into their daily living situations.
Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements:
• Master’s Degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, or other behavioral health-related field
• Must qualify at a minimum as a QMHP per Illinois Department of Health Rule 132. LPHA preferred.
• Proven experience in behavioral health, social service, or related field
• Strong skills in motivating and problem-solving with staff, and working with individuals from diverse
backgrounds
• Demonstrated clinical competency in client assessment
• Strong computer skills required, including proficiency in operating various software applications and
navigating digital platforms effectively
• Self-starter with ability to work independently.
• Ability to work within a team
• Sound judgement to assess situations, determine the severity of crises, and take appropriate action,
including referral to emergency services
• Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to communicate clearly,
thoroughly, and professionally
• Proficient skills with EHR / EMR / CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite required
• Organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet multiple deadlines
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to meet agency insurance requirements
• Must have own transportation

Essential Responsibilities:
1. Work scheduled hours and any additional hours deemed necessary by leadership. Some variation in
scheduled hours may be required to meet company needs, including an on-call rotation.
2. Oversee the daily operations of access services to provide comprehensive diagnostic assessment
and medically necessary service needs of clients through admissions.
3. Develop, mentor, coach, and supervise a team of Behavioral Health Access Counselors providing
orientation, training, regular supervisory meetings and/or feedback, scheduled evaluations, and
disciplinary interventions as required
4. Ongoing communication with Directors/Administrators regarding procedure compliance and drift
management. Participation in Finance meetings and ongoing communication with members of a
variety of teams.
5. Supervise and review all inquiries, assessments, and admission activities as a QMHP.
6. Track and measure team KPIs
7. Provide daily direction, guidance, and communication to frontline team members
8. Maintain and protect client confidentiality in accordance with all relevant regulations; maintain
confidentiality related to information being processed, stored, or accessed
9. Monitor team’s continuity of assessment and admission services in an ethical, legal, and moral
manner within a safe and therapeutic environment, consistent with applicable regulatory and
accreditation standards.
10. As assigned, performs CLIA-waived laboratory testing and related quality control activities in accordance
with CLIA requirements, manufacturer instructions, infection control protocols, and organizational
procedures.
11. Serve as a member of the team, and participate in all team meetings, duties, and activities as assigned.
12. Exhibits actions and makes decisions that align with the Rosecrance Code of Conduct and within the
framework of the law.
13. Perform all responsibilities in compliance with the mission, vision, values, and expectations of Rosecrance.
14. Serve as a role model to others and demonstrate excellent company stewardship.
Physical Requirements/Percentage of Work Time
1. Vision: Must be able to read clinical documentation, policies and procedures and other written
materials 50-74%
2. Hearing: Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with clients within a group setting 75-
100%; communicate with coworkers 75-100%; communicate on the telephone with a variety of
individuals 75-100%
3. Standing/Walking/Mobility: Must have mobility between departments within the facility 25-49%.
4. Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling: 0-24%
5. Lifting/Pulling/Pushing: Must exert up to 50 pounds of force regularly and/or up to 5 pounds of
force frequently to lift or move objects 25-49%
6. Fingering/Grasping/Feeling: Must be able to use fingers for using phone equipment to place and
receive calls 50-74%; must be able to produce computerized reports. 24-49%
7. Sitting: must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time when attending meetings, supervising staff
50-75%
8. Driving: must be able to safely and effectively drive in various weather conditions: 0-24%

- Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm

Compensation:
(Based on education, experience and credentials)

- Starting salary for Masters - $63,589.75
- Professional Certification (e.g., CADC, CRSS, CPS): $1,500 annually
- Clinical Licensure (e.g., LPC/LSW/LMSW, LCPC/LCSW/LMHC): $1,800 – $5,000 annually
