Full-TIME – 7 hours/day (8:30 AM until 4:00 PM)

LOCATION: INDIAN LANE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

EFFECTIVE DATE: IMMEDIATELY

COMPENSATION: PER ESPA AGREEMENT

$22.38/hour to start - $25.41/hour after 90-day probation

The Rose Tree Media School District is seeking caring, dependable, and student-centered individuals to serve as Paraprofessionals for the 2026–2027 school year. Paraprofessionals provide instructional, behavioral, and personal support to students in a variety of educational settings, including general education classrooms, special education programs, and one-to-one assignments. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, collaborates effectively with teachers and support staff, and is committed to helping all students achieve success in a positive and inclusive learning environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree, college coursework, or relevant experience working with children preferred.
• Ability to work effectively with students of varying ages, abilities, and learning needs.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families.
• Ability to follow instructional and behavioral plans under the direction of professional staff.
• Demonstrated patience, flexibility, and a commitment to supporting student growth and independence.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in working with students and families.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to utilize district technology systems as required.
Experience working in educational, childcare, recreational, or related settings preferred.

The ability to lift, carry, or assist students and materials consistent with assigned responsibilities may be required. Work is performed primarily in an indoor school setting.
