Responsibilities:
- Preventive and reactive maintenance regularly inspects machinery and equipment (checking oil levels, replacing parts) and repairs, or replaces broken equipment to minimize downtime.
- System maintenance: operates and repairs HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Facility upkeep: maintains building infrastructure, including lighting, doors, and common areas.
- Documentation: maintains detailed records, logs, and work orders, often using computerized maintenance systems.
- Safety compliance: adheres to safety regulations, including CAL/OSHA and lockout/tagout procedures.
- Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of work performed by maintenance team members and/or vendors on company assets. Work safely in all activities, wear proper PPE, follow all safety policies, and lockout/tagout procedures.
- Work: Tuesday – Saturday Hours: 0630am – 3pm (Tuesday – Friday) and 4am – 1pm (Saturday)
Qualifications:
- Excellent diagnostic, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Capable of working at heights and in confined spaces.
- Ability to handle physical workload. 5 years of experience in industrial, plant, or laboratory maintenance
- Experience with 480V electrical systems, motor controls, and electromechanical troubleshooting.
- Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields
- Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Deadline and detail-oriented
