Role Description
Rose Rock is looking to hire a Class A CDL Driver to join our team. The Driver will support the Hazardous and Non-Hazardous Waste Services operations as well as Emergency Response and Remediation projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport and handle hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials safely and in compliance with regulations.
- Support the 24-Hour Emergency Response Unit as needed.
- Maintain all DOT logbooks and follow all DOT regulations.
- Adheres to Health & Safety standards in all field related activities.
- Perform other field-related duties as assigned by the Project Manager.
Qualifications & Skills
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must hold a Class A CDL with Haz mat endorsement.
- Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement.
- No more than two (2) moving violations in the last three years.
- No preventable DOT-reportable accidents in the last three years.
- Ability to pass alcohol/drug screening and background check.
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments.
Preferred:
- Working knowledge environmental regulations.
- OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification is a plus; training will be required if not already obtained.
- Previous experience transporting hazardous materials or working in environmental services.
