Required Skills:
- Over 5 years of experience in SAP Basis administration tasks such as system installations, upgrades, patches, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
- Proficiency in operating systems: UNIX/Linux and Windows
- Familiarity with database management systems, particularly those used with SAP systems
- Proficiency in Oracle and SQL database administration (preferably Oracle 19c)
- Experience in SAP Bundle Patch installation
- Ability to perform SAP system optimization and conduct health check analyses
- Familiarity with SAP OSS functionality

Responsibilities
- Integrate SAP technologies, products, and infrastructure to deliver business value
- Provide technical solutions to meet Gwinnett County requirements, improve system performance, and resolve chronic issues in a multi-instance SAP environment
- Perform SAP Basis tasks including landscape planning, capacity planning, HA/DR configuration, system restore, backup troubleshooting, upgrades, system refreshes, client copies, and general Basis administration
- Apply strong knowledge of UNIX, Linux, and Windows OS, including performance analysis, debugging, and HA/DR maintenance
- Administer Oracle databases, including performance tuning, SQL trace analysis, sizing, HA/DR, and storage/disk design
- Plan, design, install, and configure SAP modules and components, including complex SAP and non-SAP integrations
- Optimize database and application performance through query and instance tuning
- Manage mid- to large-scale SAP landscapes and coordinate multiple IT initiatives and teams
- Lead or participate in full-cycle SAP implementations/upgrades (minimum 3 projects)
- Communicate effectively with management and stakeholders, providing timely status updates
- Make decisions in complex scenarios using systematic analysis and collaborative problem-solving skills
