Required Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- (10) years of quality or related experience Or Bachelor’s degree in related field and six (6) years of quality or related experience
- Working knowledge of Client’ testing standards
- Advanced knowledge of software implementation methodologies
- Advanced knowledge of test case design and strategy
- Advanced knowledge of test management tools such as Azure DevOps, qTest, or Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) Skills and Competencies
- Ability to collaborate with other team members and teams
- Ability to research, analyze data, and derive data-driven solutions
- Strong priority management skills
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
At Client, the Quality Assurance Testing Analyst supports the application development organization by independently conducting highly complex software testing activities with significant impact aimed to improve the functionality of applications systems across the organization.
Primary Responsibilities
- Independently performs manual testing of applications and translates results into actions in collaboration with management
- Designs, scripts, configures, and runs performance tests to validate production readiness of software applications and infrastructure for stability and performance against Non-Functional Requirements Analyzes test data to determine pain points and recommend improvements or modifications to better meet customer needs
- Maintains documentation for testing activities and cases, ensuring team compliance to internal policies and procedures
- Provides summaries and assessments of the application’s performance, emphasizing trends over time, and conducting deep dive analysis when necessary
- Collaborates with AppDev teams during story design to ensure new application features are developed in a performant and resilient manner.
- Assists with coordinating non-functional testing activities, including performance testing, concert testing, and pen testing
- Leads complex testing projects as a subject matter expert Relies on experience and judgement to perform job duties without supervision or direction
- Collaborates with management in determining technical knowledge pain points and developing training plans
- Offers advice and guidance to junior analysts, assisting in developing business/technical knowledge, analytical skills, and case management skills
- This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
