Job Description
Required Education:
- BA/BS in Management, Computer Science, Information Systems Management or related experience
- PMP certification
- Independent worker who can build relationships, change management skills (training/ job aid creation)
- Strong communication and project management skills
- LEAN experience
- Previous experience in Project Management
- Define project scope and objectives.
- Develop cost/benefit analysis, detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, test plans, contracts, risk and mitigation strategies, change management and communication plans
- Define and secure authorization and funding for projects. Determine staffing and individual roles and responsibilities of project team
- Responsible for directing and monitoring the work of team members and conducting project meetings
- Maintain the project plan, including risk management, issue management, change management and communication plans
- Ensure that all requirements, project plans and changes to commitment are communicated to all impacted team members
- Manage relationships and coordinate work between different teams and different locations, including all vendors.
- Responsible for the overall management and integration of requirements including the integration of vendor tasks; tracks and reviews vendor deliverables
- Measure, monitor and report progress at clearly defined points to ensure on time and on budget delivery by balancing and adjusting scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risks
- Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communications and presentation skills
- Ability to present information, status and issues in clear and concise manner with goal of driving decision
- Ability to organize and facilitate groups ensuring time is used effectively and drives projects forward
- Ability to work effectively with senior staff members and management
