Required Education
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience supporting high-volume manufacturing environments with a strong understanding of product quality planning, production processes, testing, assembly, kitting, and packaging.
- Strong knowledge of quality engineering principles, problem-solving methodologies, root cause analysis, and corrective action processes.
- Proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), metrology, measurement equipment, and measurement techniques.
- Experience with statistical quality methods, including Statistical Process Control (SPC), Acceptance Quality Limits (AQL), Measurement System Analysis (GR&R), and Process Capability (Cpk).
- Ability to evaluate cosmetic defects and establish quality specifications in partnership with Product Design teams.
- Experience analyzing manufacturing data, identifying process improvement opportunities, and driving quality issues to resolution.
- Strong proficiency with JMP and/or Minitab for statistical analysis, process capability studies, regression analysis, and data visualization.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and quality stakeholders across global locations.
- Knowledge of Quality Systems, Design of Experiments, reliability methods, and manufacturing quality processes.
- Experience using Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning tools to support data analysis and improve workflows.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present updates and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Experience with automated inspection systems and advanced manufacturing technologies.
- Experience in consumer electronics, automotive, medical devices, or similar high-volume manufacturing industries.
- Experience applying AI/ML solutions to optimize quality processes and improve operational efficiency.

Job Duties
- Establish quality systems, measurement methods, and monitoring processes to support new product development programs.
- Analyze manufacturing build data to evaluate process capability, identify trends, and determine areas requiring improvement.
- Partner with Product Design and Process Engineering teams to resolve product and manufacturing quality issues.
- Lead cross-functional teams across global locations to perform data-driven Failure Analysis and Corrective Action activities.
- Develop and implement quality monitoring methods, including Incoming Quality Control, Outgoing Quality Control, and reliability testing processes.
- Drive implementation of quality best practices and lessons learned across manufacturing sites and product programs.
- Communicate quality status, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives through statistical analysis, process optimization, and workflow improvements.
- Utilize data analysis tools, including Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning solutions, to improve quality processes and operational efficiency.
