Job Summary: (General Statement of Duties)
Performs routine maintenance tasks, trouble shooting and repairing mechanical systems, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs. Facilities and equipment includes mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks such as fixing leaks, replacing filters, and repairing electrical and plumbing issues.
- Ensure that all tools and equipment are in good working condition.
- Conduct preventive maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Assist with setup and teardown for events or special projects as needed.
- Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs or services when necessary.
- Keep maintenance areas clean and organized.
- Adhere to safety regulations and practices to ensure a safe working environment.
- Support other facilities staff and perform additional duties as required.

- Strong inter-personal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations including residents, staff, Board of Directors, and contractual workers.
