What are the responsibilities and job description for the First Shift MNA and PCA with med experience wanted position at Rose Haven?
We are currently looking for first shift Med Tech's, MNA's and PCA’s with med experience to join our growing team. In assisted living settings, we count on Med Tech's and Pca’s to gently and capably meet the needs of our residents, providing a level of care that exceeds expectations. You are expected be a companion, who seems like family, providing our residents with consistent, trustworthy, gentle care. The personal care assistant will serve as an invaluable support person in a variety of scenarios. Our residents often need someone to gracefully assist them with duties such as:
- Assist with med management for residents
- Assisting with dressing and undressing
- Assisting with laundry and other related tasks
- Assisting with transferring between surfaces such as beds and chairs
- Helping with general cleaning duties
- Assisting with personal hygiene such as brushing their hair and occasionally help them bathe
- Report to a nurse, supervisor or to the administrator of any changes in a resident’s physical condition, behavior, or appearance
- Document the services delivered to residents, in accordance with policies and procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent - Ability to pass a background check.
- Excellent judgment and proven discretion in handling confidential information - Valid driver’s license
