Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated, reliable, and career-driven individual to join our Software Development team. In this position, you will be leading product vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs, championing UI/UX design principles to create engaging and seamless user experiences for drivers and fleet managers, and working closely with development and engineering teams to translate product requirements into actionable development tasks.

Primary Responsibilities
Perform the following release management actions:
- Backlog grooming
- Release planning
- Release delivery management
- Daily release progress checks
- Daily standup meetings with the development team's lead
Crafting user stories and user journeys that capture the end-to-end user interactions with the product, ensuring a cohesive and impactful user experience.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define product requirements, prioritize features, and drive product development from concept to launch.
Working closely with engineering teams to translate product requirements into actionable development tasks, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality features. Collaborating with stakeholders to gather feedback, iterate on product features, and continuously improve the product based on user insights and data analytics.
Leading the product vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs in the commercial transport sector.
Championing UI/UX design principles to create engaging and seamless user experiences for drivers and fleet managers.
Utilizing a deep understanding of modern software design practices to guide the development of intuitive and user-friendly interfaces. Acting as product evangelist, communicating the value proposition of the product internally and externally, and driving adoption and success in the market.
Overseeing the creation of comprehensive software product user documentation, including user guides, manuals, and online help resources, to support users in effectively utilizing the product and maximizing its value.
Collaborating with technical writers and customer support teams to ensure that user documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with product functionality, providing users with the information they need to successfully interact with the product.
Incorporating customer feedback and insights into product planning and development processes, leveraging customer communication channels to gather input, validating assumptions, and prioritizing enhancements that align with customer needs and preferences.
Promoting a customer-centric mindset within the product development team, advocating for user needs and preferences throughout the product lifecycle, and championing a culture of continuous improvement based on customer feedback and market insights.
Education Requirements and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering or equivalent.
- 3 years of experience in software development.
- Experience with the AWS ecosystem and APIs (EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.).
- Ability to navigate a fast-paced environment while working cross-functionally with multiple teams (Engineering, Tech Support, Sales, Marketing, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of project management software such as Jira, Kanban, etc.
- Proficiency in one or more of the following languages and frameworks: Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, T-SQL is desired. Proficiency with at least one front-end framework: React is preferred.
- Proficiency with technical writing concepts and document creation and proficiency with graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Figma, or close equivalent.
- Conversational fluency in a language other than English--Russian is a Plus.
- Familiarity with MariaDB, RedShiftDB, working with Flask Web Framework, experience with UML, technical diagrams, mockups, etc.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the facility.

Salary : $110,000 - $125,000
