Position Summary

Rosco Vision Systems is seeking a motivated Project manager with 3-5 years' experience in managing projects and exposure to project development in electrical and/or mechanical domains. The ideal candidate will coordinate cross-functional teams, ensure timely delivery of project milestones, and maintain alignment with customer requirements and organizational goals.

Requirements

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage project development projects from initiation through launch, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget objectives are met.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Monitor progress and implement corrective actions to meet deadlines.
• Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to define project requirements and deliverables.
• Facilitate communication between internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
• Oversee product lifecycle from concept through production launch.
• Ensure compliance with design verification and validation processes.
• Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies and escalate to Program Manager's attention.
• Prepare status reports, presentations, and project documentation.
• Maintain accurate records in project management tools (e.g. MS Project, ERP systems).

Education Requirements and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• 3-5 years' experience as a Project manager in a technical or engineering environment.
• Exposure to product development projects involving electrical and/or mechanical components.
• Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and development processes.
• Familiarity with mechanical and/or electrical design principles.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g. MS Project, Jira, or equivalent).
• Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile or Waterfall) and tools.
• Strong organizational, communication (written and verbal), and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality standards.
• Familiarity with automotive or industrial product development.
• Knowledge of quality standards (e.g. ISO, VA, APQP)
• Experience working with suppliers and manufacturing partners.
• Exposure to risk management techniques.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk.
• Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at a time.
• Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the facility.
• Must be able to quickly traverse manufacturing areas.
• Must be able to stand, bend, crawl, stretch, lay, and squat.
