About Rosario
Rosario Resort is a historic oceanfront hotel on Orcas Island in the San Juans. We host travelers from all over who come for the water, the views, and the quiet. Our front desk is the first face guests see — and the heart of how the resort runs day-to-day.
The Role
You'll be the welcome, the problem-solver, and the steady hand at the desk. Checking guests in and out, answering calls, handling reservations, and making sure every person who walks through the door feels looked after.
What You'll Do
- Greet and check in arriving guests; process departures
- Answer phones, emails, and booking inquiries
- Manage reservations and resolve guest requests
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and management
- Handle payments and keep the desk and lobby sharp
- Know the island — recommend hikes, restaurants, and what's worth the trip
What We're Looking For
- Warm, reliable, and calm under pressure
- Comfortable with computers and booking systems
- Available weekends and holidays as needed
- Hospitality or customer service experience a plus, not required
- A genuine love for the island and for taking care of people
