Service BDC Representative – Automotive Dealership

Employment Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $13-$15hr plus commissions

Are you an organized, tech-savvy professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment? Our dealership is looking for a Service BDC Representative to join our dynamic team! This is a key customer-facing role focused on maintaining top-tier service appointment coordination and enhancing the overall customer experience—through phone and text communication.

Responsibilities:

• Make 60–80 outbound calls daily to confirm service appointments, follow up with customers, and manage vehicle telematics notifications (e.g., maintenance reminders, diagnostic alerts).
• Send and respond to text messages with customers for appointment confirmations, updates, and general service communication.
• Handle inbound service-related calls and texts with professionalism and care.
• Use multiple dealership systems, CRM platforms, and communication tools to manage appointments and customer interactions.
• Work closely with Service Advisors and Managers to ensure smooth scheduling and service department workflow.
• Provide consistent, timely, and friendly communication to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a BDC, call center, or customer service role (automotive experience is a plus).
• Comfortable using multiple software platforms, texting tools, and CRM systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills—must be professional and personable over both phone and text.
• Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay calm in a fast-paced environment.
