What are the responsibilities and job description for the Breakfast Cook position at Rosa's Cafe?
We are looking for a Breakfast Cook! The Rosa’s Café family welcomes employees who are hard workers, friendly, and have good customer service skills. Job Characteristics
Breakfast Cook:
- Ability to communicate with management and other employees.
- Be able to follow recipes as written in the Rosa’s Café recipe book.
- Wash and clean work areas, food storage area and food preparation equipment as needed.
- Operate equipment in a safe manner.
- Follow proper instruction of how to prep the raw materials and cook them properly according to Rosa’s standards in the Rosa’s café recipe book.
- Ability to restock and organize at the end of the shift.
- When the shift is over, clean the cooking area and assist dishwasher with the dishes.
Qualifications:
- Prefer open availability schedules (including weekends).
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to follow written documentation regarding operations, recipes and sanitation practices.
- Must be able to carry up to 40 lbs unassisted and over 40 lbs with the assistance of another employee.
- Must have general food health and safety knowledge.
- Ability to follow par levels and keep track of production levels.
