Busy upscale casual restaurant seeks a responsible and motivated Front of House Supervisor to oversee daily operations and to ensure smooth service, customer satisfaction, and compliance with health and safety regulations. Key responsibilities include managing staff, handling customer issues, maintaining inventory and supplies, and ensuring optimal food presentation. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to manage shifts and contribute to the restaurant's overall success. Key responsibilities include:
- Staff management: Providing support, Issuing voids/comps when appropriate, dealing with issues as they arise, motivating staff to upsell and be their best
- Customer service: Ensuring high service standards, addressing customer complaints, and gathering feedback to maintain satisfaction.
- Operational oversight: Supervising daily operations, from opening to closing, and ensuring a smooth workflow between front-of-house and back-of-house staff.
- Inventory and supplies: Monitoring inventory levels, managing stock to avoid shortages.
- Health and safety: Enforcing health, hygiene, and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers.
