Finance Manager
We are seeking an experienced and driven Finance Manager to oversee and lead the financial operations of our organization. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, managing accounting operations, leading the month-end close process, and supporting strategic business decisions through strong financial analysis and operational partnership.
The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with strong accounting knowledge, leadership experience, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while driving accountability, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Oversight
- Lead and support the finance and accounting team to ensure strong performance and accountability
- Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities for staff
- Establish clear goals, priorities, and expectations for the department
- Foster a culture focused on accuracy, urgency, ownership, and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with operational leadership to support company goals and financial success
Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Analyze financial performance and identify trends or opportunities for improvement
- Maintain KPI reporting and provide operational financial insights to leadership
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls
Month-End Close Management
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes
- Ensure journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and supporting schedules are completed accurately and on time
- Review general ledger activity and resolve discrepancies efficiently
- Coordinate with department leaders to gather financial data and documentation
- Continuously improve reporting accuracy and close timelines
Accounting & Operational Support
- Oversee daily accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll coordination, and cash management
- Ensure financial procedures are executed consistently across all locations
- Support audits, tax preparation, and external reporting requirements
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and financial visibility
- Assist leadership with special projects, operational analysis, and financial modeling
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting or finance experience
- Previous leadership or management experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, general ledger accounting, and closing procedures
- Experience in multi-site or operational environments is a plus
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial systems experience
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
