A well-established local industrial manufacturing company in Sumter, SC is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Client Service Support professional to join our growing team. This position plays a key role in supporting daily operations, customer service, and administrative functions to ensure smooth workflow across departments.
Position Responsibilities:
Operations Support
- Assist the operations team with daily activities to ensure efficiency
- Support outside sales and installation teams as needed
Customer Interaction
- Work directly with customers to address inquiries and provide information
- Coordinate new customer and vendor setup
Administrative Duties
- Utilize QuickBooks for quoting, order entry, invoicing, purchasing, and inventory management
- Use Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting and documentation
Shipping & Receiving
- Manage shipping and receiving processes
- Arrange freight carriers for product transportation
Communication & Organization
- Present information effectively to customers and team members
- Respond to and follow up on customer inquiries promptly
- Maintain strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks accurately and efficiently
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in QuickBooks (quoting, invoicing, purchasing, inventory management)
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Experience with shipping/receiving and coordinating freight carriers
- Manufacturing background
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and punctuality
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Quick learner with adaptability to new tasks Top of Form
