Description
We are currently seeking experienced Bartenders to join our OPENING TEAM at Roots Ocean Prime DARIEN! We are looking for friendly, energetic, highly motivated bartenders who thrive in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
Expected pay is in the range of approximately $36 - $45 per hour inclusive of tips.
GOALS
- To exceed our guests’s exceptions by providing them with the highest level of consistent, professional and courteous service.
- To promote teamwork within the restaurant creating a positive work environment.
- To properly execute all necessary steps of service.
- Ensure the highest level of cleanliness and organization at all times.
- Provide exemplary customer service to all guests by applying knowledge of food and beverage menus.
- Reporting on time and in proper uniform, always clocking in and out as required of all employees.
- To respond positively to guests requests.
- Preparing and Serving Drinks: This includes crafting cocktails, pouring beers and wines, and ensuring drinks are made according to recipes and customer preferences.
- Cash Handling: Managing transactions, processing payments, and balancing the cash register.
- Maintaining the Bar: Keeping the bar area clean, organized, and well-stocked. This includes cleaning glassware, restocking supplies, and ensuring the bar is presentable.

Requirements
- Proficient in all aspects of fine dining service.
- Proficient in cocktails, spirits, wine and beer
- Knowledge of food and beverage, as well as having a passion to cultivate these skills.
- Display a confident and professional appearance.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to exert a well-paced mobility for periods up to 6-8 hours per shift, all the while maintaining a fun and positive attitude.
- Must be able to carry about 40lbs.
