Duties
- Assist with landscape installation and maintenance projects, including planting, mulching, and soil preparation
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, excavators, and irrigation systems
- Perform lawn care tasks like mowing, edging, aerating, and fertilizing to keep landscapes vibrant and healthy
- Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and planting to promote healthy growth
- Support hardscape construction projects by preparing surfaces and installing features like patios or walkways
- Maintain garden beds and landscape features through regular pruning, weeding, and watering
- Assist with snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access and clear pathways for clients
Requirements
- Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping a plus
- Experience or interest in lawn care, gardening, landscape maintenance, or horticulture
- Knowledge of tree care practices including trimming and planting techniques
- Strong work ethic with the ability to follow safety procedures diligently
- Physical stamina to perform outdoor labor in various weather conditions
- Prior experience in construction or landscaping is advantageous but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
