We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Cleaning Technician to oversee and coordinate cleaning operations across various facilities. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning activities for commercial, industrial, or hospitality environments to ensure consistent quality standards.
- Lead and motivate a team of cleaning technicians, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback to enhance efficiency and professionalism.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and protocols aligned with safety regulations and sanitation best practices.
- Oversee the proper use of cleaning equipment, chemicals, and supplies, maintaining inventory levels and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Conduct regular inspections to monitor cleanliness, identify areas for improvement, and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients, staff, and management to address concerns, provide updates, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, safety incidents, inventory management, and staff schedules to support operational excellence.
Requirements
- Proven experience in custodial services or commercial cleaning with a strong background in industrial or hospitality cleaning environments.
- Demonstrated supervisory or team management experience with the ability to lead by example.
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures, safety regulations, and cleaning & sanitation management practices.
- Excellent managerial communication skills to coordinate teams effectively and liaise with clients professionally.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to develop schedules, manage supplies, and oversee multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Custodial or janitorial experience preferred; laundry or housekeeping management experience is a plus.
- Ability to enforce safety protocols diligently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
