What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front of House Team Member position at Rooted Cafe & Catering?
JOIN THE ROOTED CAFE & CATERING TEAM!
We are looking for a friendly, dependable cafe team member to join our team! We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people and is excited to help wherever needed!
This is a cross trained position, meaning you'll spend some time both in the front of the cafe and behind the scenes! Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking orders, operating the register, preparing drinks, making food, restocking, keeping the cafe clean and organized, and completing daily closing tasks! We're specifically looking for someone who is available to work closing shifts (our cafe closes at 5:00 PM!)
PAY/TIPS:
This position starts at $14-$15 per hour, plus participation in a shared tip pool. Tips are pooled and distributed based on hours worked and overall business volume. This on average typically adds an extra $3 per hour!

- Comfortable working in the front of house AND the back of house
- Able to multitask
- Food service or cafe experience is a plus, but we're happy to train the right person!
