Job Overview: Licensed Acupuncturist, Holistic Healthcare Practice
Root Health Acupuncture is a busy and reputable acupuncture and holistic wellness clinic located in the college town of Moscow, Idaho. Established in 2013, we provide holistic healthcare and acupuncture as well as herbs and supplements in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
We are looking for one to two additional acupuncturists for our growing practice. This is a great opportunity for the entry-level practitioner looking to build skills and a solid client base, or for the seasoned practitioner who wishes to step into an established practice with well-developed business systems. Our current practice is at capacity, so ideal candidates can expect to develop a client base quickly, with a high potential for growth. The successful candidate is versed in treating a variety of conditions and has well-developed skills in the areas of interpersonal communication, active listening and compassion-based care.

- Has knowledge in Chinese herbalism and western supplements (preferred but not required)
- Is interested in living in a rural and progressive college town that champions education, access to the outdoors (mountain biking, kayaking, rock climbing, snowsports), the arts, organic agriculture and community involvement
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled and compassionate care for a general population in a vibrant and diverse rural setting
- Model clinic values such as compassionate self-care, be invested in both personal and professional growth, and champion kindness and inclusivity
- Create a safe space for all clients regardless of race, age, ability or gender identity
- Manage one or multiple treatment rooms depending on preference and experience
- Participate in local marketing fairs and events to increase awareness about acupuncture and our clinic as a local resource
- Communicate with administrative support staff regarding office and client needs
Requirements:
- Masters or doctoral level training from an accredited school
- National board certification and current Idaho licensure as an acupuncturist
- Seek or hold in-network status with Regence Blue Shield
- Experience in and/or a willingness to learn about Chinese herbs and supplements
- Solid organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Well-developed personal and communication skills
- Comfort with using technology and computers and openness to learning how to use various office software applications (e.g., Google docs, Quickbooks, phone system, Square, scheduling system)
Job Type: Part-time or full-time depending on practitioner preference and patient demand
Compensation: Percentage per client, generous percentage when compared with industry standards
