Marketing Coordinator
Location: Visalia, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Role Type: Full-time | In-person
Reports To: Marketing Director
Compensation: $40,000–$50,000/year | Range based on qualifications
About the Role
Root Creative Marketing is looking for a highly organized, proactive, and adaptable Marketing Coordinator to support campaign execution, content coordination, social media management, and day-to-day marketing operations across a range of client brands.
This role is best suited for someone with 1–3 years of experience who enjoys both creative and operational work. You’ll work closely with strategists, creatives, account managers, and leadership to help bring marketing initiatives to life, keep projects moving, and support the continued growth of both our clients and agency.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and genuinely interested in marketing, branding, content, and digital culture. This role requires someone who can balance creative thinking with strong execution, stay organized across multiple priorities, and take initiative in a fast-paced agency environment.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Coordination & Campaign Support
- Support the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing initiatives across multiple client accounts
- Assist with campaign rollouts, project timelines, deliverables, approvals, and internal communication
- Coordinate with creative, production, account management, and leadership teams to help projects move efficiently
- Maintain organized systems for content, assets, reporting, project tracking, and internal workflows
- Support marketing research, presentations, reporting, and other operational needs as assigned
Social Media & Content Coordination
- Assist with social media calendars, publishing workflows, and content coordination across multiple platforms
- Support monthly planning, campaign execution, and ongoing content development
- Coordinate captions, scheduling, approvals, asset organization, and platform execution
- Monitor social trends, platform updates, cultural moments, and emerging opportunities relevant to client brands
- Assist with community engagement, performance tracking, and reporting
Creative & Production Support
- Capture iPhone-first photo and video content for social media, campaigns, events, and brand initiatives
- Edit short-form content using mobile-first and platform-native editing tools
- Create supporting graphics, presentations, and marketing collateral as needed
- Assist with on-site shoots, activations, content days, and production support
- Organize and maintain content libraries and creative assets
Qualifications
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in marketing, communications, social media, account coordination, or a related field
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Relations, or a related field preferred
- Experience managing multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously
- Familiarity with social media planning, content development, and campaign execution
- Agency experience is a plus, but not required

Tools & Platforms
Experience with or familiarity with:
- Canva
- CapCut
- Google Workspace
- Instagram, TikTok, Meta Business Suite, and related social platforms
- Project management and content organization tools
Additional Requirements
- Must be available to work in person in the Visalia area
- Must be located within reasonable commuting distance
- Reliable transportation for occasional local shoots, meetings, client visits, and events
- Comfortable supporting production setup, content days, and marketing events as needed
