We are hiring a Host to join our team in Uptown. This is a great opportunity for someone who is naturally welcoming, can handle multiple priorities at once, and wants to learn the ins and outs of a host position in a polished restaurant environment. It is also a strong entry point for someone looking to break into the hospitality industry and build a foundation in guest service.
What You’ll Do
- Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism and create a strong first impression
- Manage the flow of the front door while balancing reservations, walk ins, wait times, and guest needs
- Prepare and organize the correct menus for each service period
- Use OpenTable to manage reservations, answer guest questions, and support takeout coordination
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional host stand
- Communicate clearly with servers, managers, and kitchen team members to support smooth service
- Assist with opening and closing duties and help keep the front of house organized throughout the shift
