Roosevelt University’s College of Science, Health and Pharmacy seeks to fill a full-time, renewable, non tenure-track faculty position beginning August 2026.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: The primary responsibility of this position is to provide in-person lecture and laboratory instruction in Chemistry courses for health science, biology, biochemistry and biotechnology majors and graduate students. Class assignments may include both day and evening courses at the university campus in Chicago, IL.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:
- Providing exceptional classroom and laboratory instruction in select courses in chemistry.
- Incorporating evidence-based teaching methods that enhance learning outcomes for a diverse population of students.
- Serving as a resource for students as they navigate relevant degrees and majors.
- Participating in the development, implementation, and monitoring of practices that promote safe and inclusive learning environments.
- Collaborating on the review and improvement of course materials, teaching methodologies, and assessment methods.
- Engaging in scholarly and/or professional development activities that inform teaching and pedagogy.
