SUMMARY:
The Cafeteria Monitor plays a critical role in maintaining a safe, orderly, and positive environment during student meal periods. This position is responsible for supervising meal service in the cafeteria, ensuring adherence to school rules, supporting safe mealtime practices, and assisting with cafeteria flow and cleanup in collaboration with custodial staff.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Valid AZ fingerprint clearance card is required.
EXPERIENCE:
Prior experience working with children in a school, childcare, or community setting preferred.
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES:
WORKING CONDITIONS:
The work environment is the normal school setting.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
9-month year (182 days) part-time 15 hours per week, Classified Hourly Salary Schedule – Level C.
