Opportunity Overview
A family-owned and operated commercial roofing contractor with a field workforce running multiple crews. Around 80% of the work is commercial, with a smaller residential arm.
Residential projects are delivered within the local market while commercial work is carried out on a national basis. The mix spans reroofing, which is the core of the business, alongside new construction and a service and maintenance division that is being actively expanded.
Clients are predominantly property owners and investors who maintain their buildings to a high standard, with an ongoing push toward larger portfolio holder.
The business is in a growth phase and is investing in its commercial sales capability, with structured training and support in place behind the role.
Your Role
- Own the full cycle, source the lead, make the call, run the site visit, close the deal
- Win commercial service and maintenance agreements as the route into reroof work
- Build and manage your own pipeline in the CRM against clear KPIs
- Deliver signed agreements from a standing start to a 30/60/90-day plan
- Set the sales process the reps who follow you will work to
Key Requirements
- 5 years B2B sales, with evidence of building from a standing start, you know your numbers
- Comfortable working to KPIs and a defined sales process
- Strong CRM and pipeline discipline
- Physically able to climb a ladder when a superintendent isn't available
- Roofing experience is not required; construction backgrounds considered but not preferred
