The Roofing Repair Team has served commercial properties across the NYC boroughs and Central New Jersey since 2017. We’re looking for a seasoned roofer with 15 years of experience to lead our service work: leak troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs on commercial flat roofs.
You’ll lead a crew of 1–2, drive a company service vehicle, and work on modified bitumen, EPDM, TPO, and liquid-applied systems. It’s skilled, precise work, and far less punishing on your body than tear-offs. This is a hands-on role. You’ll be on the roof every day doing the repair work yourself, while training and leading your crew to your standard.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Diagnose and trace leaks to flashings, drains, copings, and masonry walls
- Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on commercial flat roofs
- Lead and train a crew of 1–2 working side by side
- Document each job with before/after photos and digital service notes
- Communicate professionally with building supers and property managers
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 15 years of commercial flat roofing experience, with strong leak-tracing skills
- English and Spanish fluency to lead your crew and communicate on site
- Basic masonry skills for leak-related repairs
- Comfort using a smartphone for photos and service notes
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record
- OSHA 30 card and NYC SST card
