In this role, you will oversee vehicle acquisition strategies, manage trade-in programs, and support the dealership’s sales team to maximize inventory quality and customer satisfaction.

Acquisition Specialist Job Responsibilities

• Develop and execute vehicle acquisition strategies to support dealership inventory needs.

• Oversee trade-in programs, evaluating customer vehicles and maximizing value for the dealership.

• Manage and mentor acquisition staff or coordinators, ensuring consistent follow-up and professional service.

• Generate and track acquisition leads through phone, email, and in-person outreach.

• Collaborate with sales, finance, and management teams to optimize customer retention and satisfaction.

• Analyze market trends, inventory data, and customer preferences to guide acquisition decisions.

• Maintain accurate records in the CRM and ensure compliance with dealership policies.

• Support dealership initiatives, campaigns, and additional tasks as needed.

Acquisition Specialist Benefits and Compensation

Pay range:$7,500 - $15,000 per month

Acquisition Specialist Qualifications

• Proven experience in automotive acquisition, sales management, or dealership operations.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong customer engagement ability.

• Leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide staff.

• Strategic thinker with strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

• Customer-first mindset with a consultative approach to trade-ins and vehicle acquisition.

• Comfortable using CRM systems, email, and standard office software.

Corporate requirements: Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record, able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
