Material Handler

Job Summary

The Material Handler is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout the warehouse. This includes loading/unloading, staging, inventory control, and supporting production operations to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities

·         Load and unload materials from trucks, pallets, and production lines

·         Move materials to designated storage areas, production lines, or shipping zones

·         Stage product for outbound shipments and ensure proper labeling

·         Perform inventory checks and maintain accurate material counts

·         Operate pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other warehouse equipment as needed

·         Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

·         Follow all safety procedures and company policies

·         Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned

Qualifications

·         Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred

·         Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently

·         Basic math and reading skills

·         Strong attention to detail and accuracy

·         Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

·         Experience with RF scanners is a plus

Physical Requirements

·         Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting

·         Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures

·         Repetitive movement and material handling throughout shift

Work Environment

·         Warehouse setting with moderate to heavy activity

·         Exposure to equipment, moving machinery, and varying temperatures

Pay & Schedule

·         1st and 2nd shift opportunities available

·         Overtime may be required based on production needs
