About the Opportunity

In this role, you will lead a team of talented technicians and service advisors, ensuring top-tier customer satisfaction (CSI) while driving operational efficiency and profitability. Your Responsibilities

• Operational Leadership: Oversee all daily service department activities, including repair order (RO) flow, shop workflow, and technician productivity.

• Financial Performance: Drive departmental profitability by managing key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Effective Labor Rate, Hours Per Repair Order (H/RO), and Fixed Absorption.

• Team Development: Recruit, train, and mentor service advisors and technicians; foster a culture of safety, accountability, and high performance.

• Customer Experience: Maintain market-leading CSI scores by ensuring transparent communication and timely service delivery.

• Process Optimization: Utilize your expertise in Dealertrack to streamline operations and ensure accurate record-keeping.

What You Bring

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of successful management experience in a domestic or import automotive dealership service department.

• Technical Proficiency: Mastery of modern Dealership Management Systems (DMS) and service scheduling software.

• Analytical Mindset: Proven ability to analyze service data to identify bottlenecks and growth opportunities.

• Leadership: Strong communication skills with the ability to lead a diverse team in a high-volume environment.

• Requirements: A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Certifications, Licenses & Registrations

• Valid driver's license meeting dealership insurability requirements.
• Manufacturer certifications as required (preferred).
• ASE Master Certification (preferred but not required).

• Ability to stand, walk, and move through service areas for extended periods.
• Must occasionally lift to forty pounds.
• Ability to operate a wide variety of vehicles safely, including manual and automatic transmissions.
