Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Construction Sales professional to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth by developing and managing relationships with clients in the construction industry. Your expertise in outside sales, account management, and business development will be crucial in identifying new opportunities and expanding our market presence.

Duties

• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company objectives
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through lead generation and cold calling
• Manage existing accounts while building strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction
• Conduct product demonstrations and provide technical sales support to clients
• Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional materials and campaigns tailored to the construction market
• Utilize CRM software, such as Salesforce, to track sales activities, manage customer interactions, and analyze sales data
• Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients while ensuring profitability for the company
• Provide insights on market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions
• Participate in trade shows and industry events to promote products and services

Skills

• Proven experience in outside sales, particularly within the construction or B2B sectors
• Strong account management skills with a focus on customer service and relationship building
• Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to upsell products effectively
• Familiarity with technology sales and technical product knowledge is a plus
• Proficiency in CRM software, including Salesforce, for managing customer relationships and sales processes
• Strong analytical skills for assessing market opportunities and performance metrics
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in territory management, inside sales, or retail sales is advantageous
