Duties
- Assist in interpreting construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of project specifications
- Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and concrete mixers safely and effectively on-site
- Framing, drywall, tub and shower installation, cabinet installation
- Execute tasks like tile laying, and restoration work
- Conduct heavy lifting and material handling in accordance with safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment
- Follow construction workplace safety regulations diligently while adhering to all safety protocols and procedures
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various tools and machinery confidently
- Knowledge of carpentry including trim carpentry, framing, roofing, drywall installation, and renovation projects
- Ability to operate saws, nail guns, multitools, and hand tools
- Familiarity with construction site safety regulations
- Capable of working on diverse projects including commercial buildings, and residential renovations
- Experience with schematics
