What are the responsibilities and job description for the System Technician position at Romotioncam?
Romotioncam™ performs wind turbine blade inspections while turbines remain operational. We work on-site at wind farms across Texas and neighboring states.
This is a hands-on, outdoor field position involving physical work and frequent travel.
⚠️ This is not an engineering, IT, or office-based role.
Key responsibilities 🔨:
- Travel to wind farm sites (60–80% travel required)
- Travel expenses covered by Romotioncam
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Set up, operate, and pack down inspection equipment
- Handle and transport system components safely
- Perform routine equipment checks and minor maintenance
- Upload inspection data using basic computer skills

Requirements ✅:
- Comfortable with physically demanding outdoor work
- Willing to travel 60–80% of the time
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable and punctual
- Basic mechanical aptitude

- English required. Spanish is a plus.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship).
