As we continue to grow, we’re seeking a Project Coordinator to help bridge the gap between ownership and field superintendents, keeping projects running smoothly and on schedule.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Project Coordinator located in Katy, TX. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for managing day-to-day project activities, coordinating with team members, and ensuring projects are completed on time. Responsibilities also include scheduling, monitoring project progress, addressing client inquiries, maintaining project documentation, and collaborating with the owner to deliver high-quality service.
Responsibilities
- Act as the link between the Owner and Superintendents, ensuring tasks are tracked and completed.
- Coordinate and track project schedules, milestones, and deadlines.
- Manage material orders: obtain pricing, place orders, track deliveries, and ensure materials arrive on time.
- Maintain communication with clients regarding selections, missing materials, and delivery timelines.
- Visit job sites regularly to document progress, verify materials, and report updates.
- Support superintendents by taking ownership of tasks that distract them from field management.
- Help prepare project documentation (change orders, schedules, punch lists).
- Monitor budgets and flag potential cost overruns or purchasing issues.
- Assist with permitting, inspections, and coordination with architects/engineers when needed.
Qualifications
- Project management and coordination skills
- 3 years of experience in residential remodeling, construction management, or project coordination.
- Must be bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Strong knowledge of building materials, remodeling processes, and construction terminology.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in using project management software and tools
