  • Support development of positive learning environments that foster student engagement and resilience.
  • Partner with teachers, administrators, and families to address barriers to learning.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, including IEP development and review.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to promote positive behavioral interventions.
  • Support development and implementation of prevention programs and initiatives that promote safe and supportive school environments.

Qualifications:

  • Valid New York State certification as a School Psychologist.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong assessment, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in diverse school settings.
  • Training or experience in culturally responsive practices.
  • Ability to travel between district sites; mileage reimbursement provided.
