Job Description – Equipment Sales Representative
The Equipment Sales Representative is responsible for developing and managing a sales territory to achieve sales goals and strategic objectives. This role focuses on building strong customer relationships, developing new business, and closing sales opportunities that support profitable growth. The position reports directly to the Regional Sales Manager.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
· Develop and grow GP equipment sales throughout the assigned territory.
· Build strong, long-term relationships with prospective and existing customers.
· Assist customers with basic product and technical questions.
· Forecast sales and coordinate with operations to help ensure inventory availability.
· Monitor the competitive landscape and identify market opportunities.
· Stay informed about national and local economic trends and developments affecting the territory.
· Build market presence through involvement with trade associations, area chambers, and relevant state and local organizations.
· Participate in company and computer-based training to support professional development and stay current on products, features, and customer benefits.
· Perform other duties as assigned.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently.
· Effective customer service and relationship-building skills.
· Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity.
· Sound judgment and decision-making skills.
· Ability to actively use Zoho CRM to develop, manage, and track the sales territory.
· Must reside within the Abilene–East Midland area.
Education and Experience
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· Minimum of three years of sales experience in construction materials or a related industry.
· Experience selling Volvo Construction Equipment and related product lines preferred.
· Valid driver's license required.
· Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory daily.
