Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Cabinet Lock Up Employee to join our team. !
Duties
- Install and lock up cabinets according to construction plans and technical drawings, ensuring accurate placement and secure fastening.
- Read blueprints and interpret technical drawings to guide precise cabinet assembly and installation.
- Use hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and woodworking machines to assemble, modify, and secure cabinetry components.
- Perform heavy lifting of cabinet units and related materials safely while maintaining proper posture and technique.
- Ensure power tool safety protocols are followed during all phases of installation and assembly.
- Conduct quality inspections of completed lock-up work to meet safety standards and client specifications.
- Assist with other construction tasks such as drywall finishing, caulking, trim carpentry, door hanging, or fixture installation as needed.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of working in a cabinet shop
- Proven experience in cabinet lock-up work within residential or commercial construction settings.
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools for woodworking, metal stud framing, drywall finishing, and woodworking machines.

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
