YOU ARE:
• A stellar attorney with at least 4-6 full years’ experience in commercial litigation and corporate contracts and transactions.
• Licensed to practice law in California and New York.
• Conscientious, thorough and you take the accuracy of your work seriously.
• Proactive, driven and good under pressure. You’re even a little competitive.
• Eager to learn and improve on the job, so you are receptive to feedback.
• Polished, poised, practical, energetic and you have a strong work ethic.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WOULD:
• Report to our California Litigation Partner.
• Work from our San Francisco office.
• Delegate tasks and ensure deadlines are met. Work with and manage junior team members reporting to you.
• Have varied activities including multiple, simultaneous projects that offer learning opportunities.
• Use your expertise-based problem-solving skills to offer innovative solutions.
• Be required to have a high degree of specialized expertise and skill in maintaining established standards of quality and accuracy. You believe that quality should never be compromised.
• Draft, review and revise contracts or agreements and deliver practical, plain English advice.
• Draft, review, and revise demand letters, case pleadings, and motion papers in commercial litigation matters.
• Assist with all substantive aspects of discovery, including drafting discovery requests and responses, and preparing for depositions.
• Support business transactions by preparing ancillary agreements and reviewing key deal terms to help close matters efficiently and cleanly.
• Lead by example: with your work ethic, your drive for success, and positive attitude.
• Be involved in client development, marketing and the growth of the firm.

• Total Compensation – $120,000 – $170,000 (based on experience and performance).
