- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including logistics, inventory management, and production planning to forecast needs and optimize inventory levels
- Conduct supplier evaluations, monitor contract compliance, and maintain strong vendor relationships for continuous improvement
- Oversee procurement activities related to e-commerce platforms and supply chain management initiatives
- Track pricing trends, analyze costs, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality or delivery timelines
- Coordinate logistics and transportation arrangements to ensure efficient delivery schedules aligned with production demands
Skills
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, SAP ERP, JD Edwards, Oracle EBS, or AS400 for procurement and materials management functions
- Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to secure advantageous terms with suppliers
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles including inventory control, logistics, and production planning
- Experience with sourcing strategies across diverse categories including merchandising and manufacturing supplies
