Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service at the counter
• Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Prepare simple food items and assist in food handling to ensure quality and safety standards are met
• Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
• Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give correct change efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the counter area, including bussing tables and food prep surfaces
• Support food safety protocols by following sanitation guidelines and proper food handling procedures
• Assist with basic inventory management, restocking supplies as needed
• Collaborate with team members to ensure quick service during busy hours

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail environments is preferred but not required
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and energetic approach
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting
• Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Experience with food preparation or kitchen work is advantageous but not mandatory
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
