Job Purpose
The Physical Therapist - Pilot 1099 is responsible for supporting ROMTech pilot programs and IRB-approved clinical studies through protocol development, patient treatment, outcomes monitoring, and clinical innovation. This role serves as a clinical subject matter expert who collaborates with internal teams, physicians, hospitals, and health system leaders to evaluate and advance rehabilitation solutions. The position contributes to ROMTech's mission of expanding access to Clinician guided at-home rehab while ensuring compliance with study protocols, professional standards, and regulatory requirements. Candidates must have an active, Florida license in good standing.

Key Responsibilities Essential Duties
- Develop, implement, evaluate, and refine clinical protocols for ROMTech pilot programs and IRB-approved studies.
- Deliver physical therapy services to patients participating in pilot programs while maintaining compliance with study requirements and established standards of care.
- Collaborate with research and clinical teams to monitor patient outcomes, ensure accurate documentation, and maintain data quality.
- Analyze pilot program results and provide clinical recommendations to improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
- Brainstorm and recommend innovative clinical approaches, including opportunities related to reimbursement methodologies and applicable billing codes.
- Represent ROMTech in meetings and presentations with physicians, hospital administrators, health systems, and executive leadership to communicate clinical value and study objectives.
- Maintain compliance with IRB protocols, HIPAA requirements, company policies, and applicable state and federal regulations.
- Serve as a clinical innovator by contributing to the development of new rehabilitation strategies, workflows, and care delivery initiatives.
- Participate in cross-functional discussions with clinical, operational, and research stakeholders to support organizational objectives.
- Maintain timely, accurate, and complete documentation related to patient care and study activities.
- Assist with training, education, and knowledge-sharing activities related to pilot programs and clinical initiatives.
- Support process improvement efforts and special projects related to clinical research and innovation.
- Attend meetings, conferences, or educational sessions relevant to the role.
- Performs other related duties as assigned to support operational and business needs.
Salary : $50 - $60
