Responsibilities:

Design and develop engaging, SCORM-compliant e-learning modules, assessments, and interactive learning experiences for internal and external audiences.

Support the execution of comprehensive certification programs that support role-specific development, compliance, and operational excellence.

Collaborate with SMEs to translate technical and operational subject matter into clear, effective training content across modalities (video, visual, written, interactive).

Document processes, workflows, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) as needed when collaborating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure accurate knowledge transfer.

Maintain a centralized training library with controlled access, accurate versioning, and clear ownership.

Ensure all training content remains current by proactively updating materials in response to product enhancements, regulatory changes, and SOP updates.

Track content usage, effectiveness, and learner feedback to drive continuous improvement.

Design with accessibility, usability, and outcomes in mind—ensuring content is engaging, inclusive, and easy to consume.

Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), trainers, and operational leaders to validate accuracy and instructional quality.

Align learning objectives with performance outcomes, ensuring training drives behavior change and operational impact.

Manage concurrent project tasks and workflows effectively to ensure timely delivery of high-quality learning assets.

Provide peer review and instructional coaching to Level 1 and Level 2 designers to ensure departmental quality standards.

Completion and certification rates across ROMTech University and the Academy.

Learner satisfaction scores and qualitative feedback.

Timeliness and accuracy of content updates, post-regulatory or product changes.

Quality and clarity of learning experience across roles and learning types.

Success Metrics:

Strong proficiency instructional design, adult learning principles, and e-learning development.

Proficient in AI tools and prompt engineering to enhance productivity, creativity, and problem-solving in day-to-day work.

Strong proficiency with authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, Adobe Captivate, or similar.

Advanced knowledge of LMS platforms and SCORM/xAPI standards.

Ability to translate complex technical or procedural information into digestible, learner-friendly formats.

Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple concurrent content projects simultaneously.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially when working with senior stakeholders, SMEs and cross-functional partners.
Work Experience and Requirements

3-5 years of experience in instructional design or educational technology, specifically in a technical or highly regulated environment (e.g., MedTech or SaaS).

Proven success creating interactive e-learning and certification programs.

Experience working in healthcare, MedTech, SaaS, or operationally complex organizations preferred.

Strong portfolio of training assets or course samples (preferred).
Physical Demands
