We are looking for an experienced Funeral Director to come aboard!
· Active and In Good Standing Funeral Directing license with the state of Missouri.
· Arrange and conduct funeral and memorial ceremonies in a professional, organized, and caring manner.
· Care for the deceased respectfully while performing a variety of tasks, which include removals and transfers.
· Prepare necessary legal paperwork, including contracts, authorizations, death certificates, and transit permits.
· Assist families wishing to prearrange or prepay funeral arrangements.
· Good understanding of computers and standard software including, MS Word, MS Excel, and Electronic Death Registry System
· Ability to serve and maintain several families each time.
· Excellent communication skills
· Meticulous
· Elevated level of empathy and compassion
· Ability to work weekends and evenings according to schedule.
· Clean driving record
Compensation based on experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
