Role Summary
A Budtender will be responsible for assisting customers with their purchases, including recommending products, addressing customer concerns, and ensuring that the sales floor is adequately stocked. This role is key to maintaining a loyal, satisfied customer base and remaining in compliance with New Jersey cannabis regulations.
What You’ll Do
- Greet and welcome customers
- Answer customer questions regarding cannabis strains, uses of products, and methods of consumption
- Educate customers about cannabis products
- Offer personalized product recommendations to customers
- Utilize the POS system to make purchases for customers
- Assist with opening and closing procedures and ensure the store is organized and clean
- Ensure Rollin’ Green is in accordance with all applicable laws and company standards
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working as a cannabis retail sales floor agent or budtender is preferred
- A valid cannabis business identification card
- Sound knowledge of cannabis strains and their benefits
- Thorough understanding of national, state, and local adult-use cannabis laws
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Effective time-management and ability to multi-task
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment
- Proficiency in POS system software
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are strongly preferred
